Use kiosk and sample quizzes
Kiosk and sample links provide short, public quiz experiences in a browser. Use the exact link supplied by the organizer. A sample quiz is read-only and restarts after completion. A kiosk quiz records a session and then opens its results experience.
Take a kiosk quiz
- On the event device, open the organizer-approved kiosk link.
- Wait for the quiz to load and for the first question to appear.
- Answer each question and finish the quiz.
- Review the kiosk results page. Use View Leaderboard or View Your Results when those controls are shown.
- Select Take Quiz Again before handing the device to the next participant.
Expected result: the completed attempt appears in the kiosk results experience, and the next participant starts a fresh quiz session.
Take a sample quiz
- Open the complete sample-quiz link from the organizer.
- Complete the displayed questions.
- After the last answer, the same sample restarts automatically.
Expected result: you can demonstrate the quiz interaction repeatedly without signing in. A sample quiz is not a substitute for a scored assignment or assessment.
Use a shared device safely
- Use a private or guest browser profile when the device is not owned by the event.
- Do not use a shared kiosk to open private account pages or personal assessment-result links.
- Before the next participant starts, return to the first quiz screen and remove any visible personal information.
- Do not share a copied results URL as proof of a participant's identity or authorization.
Troubleshooting
- For Unable to Load Quiz, confirm the full link and select Try Again once. If it persists, ask the organizer to verify that the public quiz is available.
- For Unable to start quiz, select Try again after checking the connection.
- If a previous participant's results remain visible, do not continue. Select Take Quiz Again, then reload the approved kiosk link if needed.
- If the sample link opens Quiz not available, request a current complete link; do not guess or edit its identifier.
- Keep the browser awake and connected during an event. Avoid clearing site data during an in-progress attempt.
If the problem continues, contact support with the kiosk or sample page URL, quiz or event name, device and browser, timestamp, and exact displayed error. Remove participant names and emails from screenshots unless support specifically needs the affected participant's own details.
