Open campaign and referral links
Campaign, webinar, challenge, and referral links can send you to a public 6Tool experience, account signup, the mobile app, or an app store. Use the original link from the partner so its destination and referral code remain intact.
Follow a link on desktop
- Open the complete link in a current browser.
- Allow the Redirecting... page to finish.
- Complete the signup or public experience at the destination.
Expected result: the browser opens the destination selected for that campaign and preserves the referral context when supported.
Follow a link on a phone or tablet
- Open the link from the message or page where you received it.
- Select Open in App if 6Tool is installed.
- If the app does not open, return to the page and select Download the App.
- When a referral code is shown, select Copy and keep it until signup is complete. On some devices you may need to enter it manually in the app.
Expected result: the installed app opens or the appropriate app-store page appears. The referral code remains available on the handoff page.
Keep attribution accurate
- Do not shorten, retype, or remove query parameters from the original link.
- Finish the flow in the same browser and device when possible.
- Do not reuse another person's referral link if the invitation was intended for a specific recipient.
- Browser privacy settings, in-app browsers, and switching devices can prevent automatic attribution. A successful destination page does not guarantee that attribution was retained.
Troubleshooting
- Invalid referral link: request a new complete link from the sender.
- Stuck on Redirecting...: check the connection, then reopen the original link in Safari, Chrome, or another full browser.
- App did not open: select Download the App, update or install 6Tool, then reopen the original link.
- Wrong destination: return to the original message and open its link without editing it.
- Referral missing after signup: save the original URL and displayed referral code, but do not create duplicate accounts or repeat purchases.
If the issue continues, contact support with the original campaign URL, displayed referral code, intended destination, device, browser, timestamp, and the page that opened. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or payment details.
