Use public leaderboards
An organizer may share a public leaderboard for an event, kiosk quiz, or challenge. Open only the link supplied for that experience. A leaderboard can show participant names, ranks, percentages, team averages, or geographic summaries, depending on the event.
Open an event leaderboard
- Open the organizer's event or leaderboard link in a current browser.
- If you opened the event page, complete registration and the quiz first.
- On Your results, select Full Leaderboard.
- Use Individual or Team when both tabs are available.
- On a display leaderboard, use Take the quiz or scan Scan to play to return to the event.
Expected result: the leaderboard loads the current ranks and scores. Your entry may be marked (You) when you arrived from your results session.
Use a challenge leaderboard
- Open the challenge leaderboard link supplied by the organizer.
- Review the summary statistics at the top.
- For geographic challenges, switch between Map View and List View.
- Select a state on the map to review its available summary.
Expected result: the page shows the leaderboard format configured for that challenge. Signed-in participants may also see their own result or team summary.
Protect participant information
Treat a public leaderboard as public. Use the display name requested by the event and do not submit another person's name. Do not copy a public leaderboard into a private player report or infer private assessment details from a rank. Share a participant's detailed results only through the product's approved result-sharing flow and with their permission.
Troubleshooting
- If no scores appear, confirm that you have the exact event link and that participants have completed the quiz.
- If the page says Failed to load leaderboard, select Retry once, then check the connection and reload.
- If Team is empty, the event may not have team results yet.
- If your row is not marked (You), return through Your results instead of editing the leaderboard URL.
- If a challenge says no data was found, confirm the link with the organizer; the challenge may not have started or the link may be invalid.
If the problem continues, contact support with the full page URL, event or challenge name, browser and device, timestamp, and a screenshot with unrelated participant details removed. Never send passwords or private reports.
