Troubleshoot partner and event links
Keep the original partner or event link available while troubleshooting. It can contain the destination, event identifier, or attribution needed for the experience. Do not edit the URL or repeatedly submit a quiz, form, or purchase.
Start with safe checks
- Confirm the sender and that the complete link begins with the expected 6Tool or partner QOTD site.
- Open it in a current Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge window.
- Check the connection and reload once.
- If a mobile app handoff fails, return to the original page and choose its browser or app-store option.
- If sign-in is required, use the account that received the invitation or was previously linked to the experience.
Expected result: the original link opens the intended registration, question, quiz, leaderboard, signup, or app handoff.
Match the message to the recovery
- Invalid referral link, Partner not found, or Results not available: the link is incomplete, invalid, or disabled. Request a current link from its owner.
- Check back soon or No scores yet: the public experience is available but does not have published content or completed results yet.
- Invalid email or password or Incorrect email or password: verify the email and use the normal password-recovery flow. Do not create a duplicate account.
- Results not found after refreshing an event results page: return to the event link. The page's result highlight and session can depend on arriving directly from quiz completion.
- Failed to load leaderboard or Unable to Load Quiz: select the displayed retry control once after checking the connection.
- Repeated redirects or a failed app open: use a full browser, update the app, and reopen the untouched original link.
Preserve useful evidence
Before closing the page, record the public page URL, partner or event name, exact error, date and time with time zone, browser, device, and whether you arrived from email, QR code, social post, or another app. A screenshot should show the error but exclude unrelated participant names, email addresses, and private results.
Contact support
Send support the evidence above and describe the expected destination. Include the affected account email only when it is your account and is needed to locate the issue. Never send a password, one-time code, provider token, payment details, private child information, or another participant's detailed results.
