Review OAuth consent and partner sign-in
Some partner experiences offer Continue with Google for an existing 6Tool account that is linked to Google. The provider opens a separate consent or account-selection window. Review that window before approving access.
Sign in with Google
- Start from the partner page and select Sign in to track my streak or open My history.
- Select Continue with Google.
- In the Google window, verify that you recognize the 6Tool request and the page address.
- Choose the Google account associated with your 6Tool account.
- Review the requested basic profile and email access, then continue only if you agree.
Expected result: the provider window closes, you return to the same partner experience, and the page confirms that your results are saved.
You can cancel the provider window without answering a question or creating an account. Never approve a consent screen reached from an unexpected domain or one that asks for unrelated access.
Use another sign-in method
- Return to My history.
- Leave Sign in selected.
- Enter the email and password for the existing 6Tool account.
- Submit the form and wait for the saved-results confirmation.
For a visitor under 13, do not use the self-service Create account option. Select A parent can set up your account and use the parent-led process.
Troubleshooting
- If no window opens, allow pop-ups for the partner QOTD site and select Continue with Google again.
- If the wrong Google account appears, cancel, sign out of that provider account if needed, and restart with the intended account.
- If Google sign-in fails, use the existing account's email and password. Do not create a second account to work around an account mismatch.
- If the provider window loops or returns to a blank page, retry in a full Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge window rather than an in-app browser.
- If you intentionally cancelled, no recovery is required; start sign-in again when ready.
If the problem continues, contact support with the partner page URL, sign-in method, browser and device, timestamp, and the exact error text. Do not send your password, provider access token, one-time code, or a screenshot containing other Google accounts.
