Known limitations

This page describes verified customer-visible constraints in the current 2.2 product family. It is not a promise that a limitation will change in a specific release.

Public event results use the current browser session

The event results page receives the participant's result from the just-finished quiz flow. Refreshing the results URL or opening it in another browser can show Results not found and can remove the (You) leaderboard highlight.

Safe workaround: return to the original event link. Do not edit the results URL or retake a scored quiz unless the organizer or support confirms that the first completion was not saved.

Anonymous QOTD history starts on one device

You can answer a partner QOTD without signing in, but anonymous continuity depends on that browser and device.

Safe workaround: sign in from My history to save eligible history across devices before clearing browser data or moving devices.

App and referral handoffs depend on browser and operating system

An email or social app's embedded browser may not open the 6Tool app, a provider popup, or the app store as expected. Referral attribution can also be interrupted when the flow switches browsers or devices.

Safe workaround: reopen the untouched original link in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, then use the page's Open in App, Continue in Browser, or app-store control. Keep any displayed referral code.

Public pages intentionally show limited context

Public leaderboards can show names, ranks, percentages, team averages, or aggregate challenge information. Public shared assessment reports omit direct personal identifiers, and some seasonal reports intentionally hide answers. These pages do not replace an authorized private player report.

Safe workaround: use the signed-in report surface for private account details. Do not combine public information to identify or profile a participant.

Disabled or invalid links cannot be reconstructed

A QOTD partner link, referral link, sample quiz, event, or opaque shared-result link can become unavailable or may be incomplete. Guessing identifiers or tokens is not a supported recovery.

Safe workaround: request a current complete link from the person or organization that shared it.

Report a limitation that blocks work

First try the safe workaround above. If the task remains blocked, contact support with the page URL, surface, expected result, exact message, browser or app version, device, timestamp, and whether the problem reproduces once. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, private child data, or another participant's results.
