Parent privacy and consent
A parent or guardian must personally complete the youth consent flow. Use the minimum child information requested and keep family credentials private.
Protect the child account
- Enter accurate age information so 6Tool can route signup correctly.
- Review the parental notice, terms, and consent information before agreeing.
- Use the child's first name only where the interface requests first name.
- Create a username that does not reveal the child's full name, school, birth date, address, or team.
- Store parent and child sign-in details separately and privately.
- Review reports and notifications only in the authorized family account.
- Share child results only with authorized coaches, organizations, or support channels and only when needed.
Expected result: the child uses a managed account linked to the consenting adult without unnecessary personal information.
Do not bypass an age gate, impersonate a parent, or post child screenshots publicly. For a consent, custody, wrong-family, or data-access concern, stop using the affected profile and contact official support. Never send passwords, one-time codes, full birth dates, or identity documents unless an approved support process specifically requires and protects them.
