Reuse shared content

Search existing content before creating a new quiz, question, or media item. Respect the source and editing permissions shown by the portal.

Reuse an item

  1. Select the intended organization or team scope.
  2. Search Quizzes, Questions, or Media for the topic.
  3. Open the candidate and verify its source, content, answer key, and media.
  4. Use the available supported action to include, assign, or publish it.
  5. If customization requires a copy action, create one copy, give it a distinct title, and review every answer before use.
  6. Confirm the reused item appears in the target team's quiz or assignment workflow.

6Tool-provided quizzes are marked with a different source from organization content. Reusing or assigning an item does not transfer ownership of the source material.

Troubleshooting

  • If edit controls are absent, use the item as provided or create an authorized organization copy.
  • If content appears duplicated, compare source and team scope before deleting anything.
  • Report inaccurate shared content rather than silently changing an answer you do not own.
