Edit team identity and set defaults for future roster memberships.

Manage team details and season dates
You need permission to edit the team. The modern coach web app exposes season defaults; the organization portal also manages team identity.
Update the team
- In coach web, open Dashboard, select the team, and find Team season.
- Enter a Season start and Season end. The end must be after the start.
- Choose Save team season and wait for the success message.
- In the organization portal, open Teams, choose the edit icon on a team card, update supported details, and save.
Team season dates are defaults for new player memberships when no player-specific override is supplied. Saving them does not rewrite existing roster dates. Use roster editing to change an existing player's duration.
Troubleshooting
- Provide at least one valid date; when both are supplied, the end must be later.
- If the team has no backing season record, contact support rather than repeatedly saving.
- If the saved values reload differently, refresh and verify the current team before retrying.
